Extraction of teeth and retinated teeth

The Da Vinci Dental clinic is focused on preserving patients' own teeth, so we save even soooo "complicated" teeth that are usually removed.

But there are cases when tooth extraction is inevitable. If it is necessary to extract the tooth, we always use low-trauma techniques, special modern dental instruments, the latest treatment protocols, which significantly reduce surgical trauma and accelerate healing. We perform the procedure quickly, atraumatically, without pain, without the use of force, using the latest local anesthetics, which are very effective in anesthetizing the operating area. You will not even notice or feel when the doctor says the phrase: “Everything is ready! You did great!”

How does tooth extraction take place?

All manipulations on tooth extraction are performed by a surgeon using an optical magnification system and local powerful lighting.

Optics allows you to see the bottom of the bone hole, to focus on pathological granulations, areas that are inaccessible to the naked eye. Thanks to the additional lighting installed on each optical system, the doctor achieves maximum cleanliness when inspecting the hole before suturing the wound.

Atraumatic tooth extraction

Before removing a tooth, be sure to perform an antiseptic treatment of the oral cavity, a good anesthetic and carefully divide the tooth into parts, because each root is in different projections and planes and has a separate way of removal. Each fragment of the tooth, together with its root, without pressure and injury, is removed separately, while preserving the interradicular bone tissue surrounding the tooth. These partitions are very important because they allow you to immediately place a dental implant, bypassing additional surgical manipulations and shortening the rehabilitation period.

This is the concept of atraumatic removal.

Rehabilitation after tooth extraction

After the tooth is extracted, special collagen cones are installed in the hole, which are biocompatible with the tissues of the human body, do not cause rejection and form a stable blood clot, which is the key to the rapid formation of young bone tissue. Collagen sponges accelerate osteogenesis and stimulate wound healing in bone tissue.

One of the techniques that promotes effective healing is the use of plasma concentrate enriched with vascular and epithelial growth factors - an A-PRF clot, obtained by centrifugation of the patient's blood.

The accuracy and skill of each manipulation is achieved through all the above, as well as manual skills, which each of the specialists is constantly improving by attending various courses, trainings, reading the latest articles and more.

Removal of rattinated teeth

We pay special attention to the removal of rattinated teeth. These are teeth that do not have enough space in the dentition, which is why they have grown inside the jaws and can lead to complex leaks and inflammatory processes. But most often they need to be removed during orthodontic treatment, when they interfere with the movement of teeth, or threaten neighboring teeth (create compression on the bone tissue near the neighboring tooth, causing local resorption or root caries). Such teeth are also removed by microsurgical atraumatic techniques, when surgeon removes the tooth through a small hole in parts. This significantly increases the duration of the surgical manipulation but reduces the postoperative rehabilitation for the patient.
